I’ve been listening to a lot of floaty, ethereal pop recently and this project, “Sea Oleena”, (recording name for Montreal vocalist, Charlotte Oleena) has really stuck with me. Her voice is wispy and angelic, hovering over the rising instrumentals.

To try and do my usual, “sounds like a combination of ‘X artist’ + ‘Y sound’” comparison here would be a bit of an injustice because Sea Oleena is really something refreshing to my ears. Luckily for you, her albums are here on bandcamp, where you can listen and download on a pay-what-you-like basis (free is an option, but if you like it, be fair people). I’d suggest starting with her most recent album, Sleeplessness and then going back. My personal favorite track so far is ‘Sleepless Fever’.
