Cash at San Quentin

Found this on vinyl yesterday and it's in great condition. This and " Folsom Prison" are easily my favorite Cash albums. There's just something about his live shows that add another facet to Cash. Maybe it's the banter and stories that occur between the tracks, which are honest and human. Maybe it's Cash's ability to deliver the driving "Walk The Line" and the gentle "Peace In The Valley" with his wife June, in the same cohesive performance.  Maybe it's just the fact that Cash holds this larger-than-life power to identify with a massive crowd of prison inmates. Either way, when it comes to the Cash discography this album is filed under "do-not-miss."
